Our client is an established Australian company which designs and manufactures a wide range of industrial equipment. The main industries this company supplies are agricultural, industrial, automotive, mining, aviation and marine. The range of products is low cost, but very high volume. Based in NSW, the company has circa 120 headcount across the business, including head office, engineering and manufacturing. As a result of their ambitious growth plans, they are now seeking to appoint a Group Marketing Manager into a newly created role.  This is an exciting time to join the business as they go through this next stage of major growth and international expansion. Highly profitable, the business has been performing very well over the last 5 years and as such presents a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

The Role

As Marketing Manager, based in their CBD office, your role will be to oversee and manage the marketing activities for the company globally supporting their strategic objectives for expansion in North America, Asia Pacific and South Africa as well as continued market leading positioning in Australia.
You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies – branding, digital and product, managing a team of marketing professionals, and driving the group’s marketing efforts to achieve business goals.
You will lead the product team to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive the successful launch and ongoing promotion of the organization’s products or services. You will work cross-functionally to understand the product’s features, benefits, and target market, and develop marketing campaigns to effectively communicate and promote them.
In addition you will be responsible for driving online visibility, brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation through various digital channels.
Finally you will lead the development and execution of branding strategies for the group and for each division within the organisation, enhancing brand identity, brand recognition and driving brand loyalty across various marketing channels.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be an accomplished Marketing Manager who has operated at a mid to senior level ideally within a B2B or Industrial environment.  You will have a sound understanding of digital marketing, brand marketing and product marketing principals and will be able to demonstrate your strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset, with track record around how your initiatives have delivered material changes for a business. A strong leader, collaborator and communicator, you will also ideally have a growth mentality and be eager to get into a business and make things happen.
