Recognised in our sector by an extensive, reputable history and broad product range, Nintendo Australia is recruiting a Marketing Specialist to join our team on a Full Time basis.

Reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager, this role works closely with the Marketing Team, Managers and team members of other departments in order to plan and execute the marketing activity in line with the company’s overall marketing plan and strategy working within a framework of the 3 Pillars:

Key requirements for the role include:

  • Determining the lifecycle marketing plan for selected projects across all touchpoints, in coordination with the Brand Marketing Manager, including implementation and control.
  • Managing agency relationships to maximise product opportunities, ensure clear information flow and implement strategies effectively.
  • Briefing media agency in a timely manner and work with them to produce the most effective and efficient media strategy for presentation and approval by Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Working with the Brand Marketing Manager to develop effective KPIs and measures for the success of product campaigns.
  • Generating regular reports to measure the effectiveness of all marketing campaign activity, including ongoing social media metrics and media effectiveness in order to assess and implement PDCA requirements.
  • Monitoring sales performance of assigned titles, and act as necessary to implement marketing activity to support underperforming products.
  • Continual investigation for relevant new marketing opportunities for Nintendo products in conjunction with the General Manager Marketing or Brand Marketing Manager.
  • Working with the Sales team to monitor sales performance of assigned titles, and act as necessary to implement marketing activity to support underperforming products.
  • Work closely with Content Marketing & PR teams to brief, develop and execute campaign strategies, including assistance with social media and announcement localisations and approvals.
  • Managing all campaign assets (artwork, style guides, POS, pre-sale items, DLC) including localisations, local content creation and approvals.

To succeed in the role, you will require:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, including experience in campaign management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or relevant discipline is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills.
