PurposePosition Description:

Working closely with a cross-functional team, the Portfolio Support Specialist, Institutions will provide project and administrative support across the vertical. This role requires the individual to coordinate across various product development and strategic initiatives and communicate with executive management on status, risks, mitigations, and financial health through the program. A successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as great project management and communication competencies.

Accountabilities

Running reports on various platforms.Creating dashboards and doing feedback analysis of said reports.Data analysis by creating graphs, workflows, Pivot tables, and applying conditional formatting and formulas.

Coordination

and collaboration with all stakeholders (inhouse teams) for various projects.

Administration – Responsible for providing administrative support on multiple projects, including initiation and population of project documentation using standardised templates.

Assisting – Documenting project requirements, onboarding and creating purchase orders for external contractors, and tracking/processing invoices through to payment.

Monitoring – Responsible for working with the team to update schedules, budgets and other documents as needed, providing information to other Pearson departments including Project Management and Portfolio Management.

Planning/Execution – Responsible for coordinating meetings as required, including preparing and/or editing meeting agendas and minutes, presentations, and materials.Supporting Product Managers to retrieve necessary information (e.g. user/client requirements and relevant case studies).

Candidate ProfileQualificationsPost-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent qualificationA minimum of 2 years of related experience would be an assetDigitally proficient; including Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and some knowledge ofpurchase order/invoice processing, project management systems, and learningtechnology.
