RWS Netherlands is seeking Dutch linguists to join our international in-house team and build a long-term working relationship by joining us in in delivering high quality translations for well-known multinationals.
We are recruiting linguists for all subject matter fields: life sciences, marketing/transcreation, automotive, engineering, finance, IT, travel, retail and more. We are also interested in all experience levels.

Together with your team members you will get the chance to manage your own projects and be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality on time and within budget.
Location: Hybrid role, 1 day at our office in Hengelo, Netherlands, and 4 days from home. RWS pays the commuting expenses to get to the office.
Job Type: The contract is full-time (32-40 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:
• Translating and post-editing texts into Dutch
• Editing and proofing translations provided by in-house colleagues as well as external vendors
• Managing localization projects
• Providing linguistic support to project managers and your team
• Guaranteeing quality according to our standard procedures
• Contributing to continuous development by making proactive recommendations
Skills & Experience:
• You have native-level proficiency in Dutch and English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in translation or a second language (English, German, or French)
• Ability to translate content from English (any other language such as German and/or French is a plus)
• Previous experience of at least 3 years translating from English into Dutch, preferably as an in-house translator
• Computer proficient and open to continuously growing and learning with new tools and applications.
• You have a good eye for detail and can work efficiently.
