About The Job

Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for Chrome Browser, your goal is to bring Chrome Browser to more Australians to help them get more out of the web. You will lead end-to-end consumer campaigns across paid, owned and earned, including large-scale media strategies, creative development, and robust measurement plans.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google’s products solve the world’s problems–from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can–changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full year media and partnership strategy, implementation and measurement for Chrome Browser and the Google app, working closely with the Go-to-Market leads to ensure alignment with the overarching strategy.
  • Oversee and influence Australia’s full funnel strategy (across paid, owned, and earned), activation, results and optimizations.
  • Bring modern media mix principles into the Chrome Browser and Google app media strategy to achieve a healthy balance of tried and tested and innovation to maximize impact, contribute to the global learning agenda and inform future plans.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of Chrome creative, leveraging a combination of adapted global work and locally developed assets.
  • Lead the analysis of campaign performance and work with our global, regional, and local counterparts to share learnings and best practices regularly. Manage the relationships with local agencies.
