The Job You Will Perform

  • Identify and recruit top talent for various, salaried roles for manufacturing locations
  • Partner and collaborate with hiring leaders and HR in developing and executing recruiting strategies that identify and attract qualified candidates
  • Screen candidates in a consistent, professional and insightful manor that includes detailed feedback
  • Provide consultative, regular feedback with hiring teams and HR in order to demonstrate credibility and create a collaborative relationship
  • Maintain current records of all jobs and candidates in ATS database
  • Develop high-level understanding of International Paper business and offerings
  • Communicate IP’s value in the marketplace as well as relaying detailed job-specific information to prospective candidates
  • Maintain pipeline of targeted skill sets

The Skills You Will Bring

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience within a corporate and/or agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting salaried, manufacturing positions highly preferred
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting
  • Strong candidate assessment skills
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple candidates and employees on concurrent complex hiring projects with the ability to effectively prioritize efforts to meet obligations
  • Solid personal leadership and communication skills combined with the ability to build effective relationships across an array of partners
  • Ability to lead and influence through change
  • Demonstrated ability to source and recruit diverse individuals and effectively position employment brand to attract top talent
  • Ability to consult with hiring managers and HR on the negotiation of compensation packages
  • Ability to develop recruiting techniques and sourcing methods specific to job requirements and position success profiles
  • Proficiency with various contact management or applicant tracking systems, as well as Microsoft Office software products
