Senior Accountant

Position based in Budapest, Hungary

🌟More about the Role and Core Responsibilities

• Handle and complete daily operational duties of the accounting department (AP, AR, GL, Tax, CAPEX, Cash, Inventory, Payroll, etc.).
• Responsible for accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closing and reporting to the shareholder, management, authorities and auditors.
• Responsible for the preparation of the statutory financial statements.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods.
• Support the development and implementation of SAP Business One to increase the effectiveness of the existing accounting and reporting systems as well as the operations.
• Provide financial analysis to the management to support the growth of the Company.
• Guide and support the accounting team.
• Perform Ad-Hoc duties as per company and management needs.

We believe you will be great for this role if you have…

• Native Hungarian and fluent English.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with relevant professional qualification (CA / CPA).
• 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in accounting and reporting under IFRS.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
• SAP Business One experience highly preferred.
• Experience in ERP implementation would be an advantage.
• Advanced excel skills required.
• Precise and accurate with numbers and data.
• Disciplined and well organized.
• Hard working and able to handle pressure.
• Ability to work independently.
