The Sr. Lead product owner will be responsible for the delivery of new crypto Institutional Services related products and features. This role works directly with the development teams across business areas to define and deliver end-2-end solutions. Bakkt is in the process of building out its institutional strategy focused on bringing best in class qualified custody services and execution to the institutional market. The role will have a focus on crypto institutional trading but an understanding of crypto custody and settlement is also desirable.
Success in this role will include the ability to clearly define priorities, manage requirements gathering and cross team alignment, and ensure delivery to a timeline. We expect this person to grow as the product and team grows. Future looking opportunities include team building, sales, and partnership negotiation.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Product Manager – Institutional Services to help manage scrum team, implement strategy for institutional services, and expand trading capabilities.
Requirements
- 2+ years in product owner experience with increasing responsibility
- Crypto, trading, and traditional markets infrastructure knowledge preferred
- Passion for the crypto industry required
- Experience as product owner for development teams in an agile scrum framework
- History of product lifecycle management and successful release of product
- Bonus points for crypto custody experience
- API integration and ecosystem management; ideally, experience with microservices
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and strong communication skills
- Excel and presentation skills
