Senior Trade Analyst

We are partnering with a leading customs brokerage who are seeking a Senior Trade Analyst to join their team in Cologne on a hybrid basis.

This role will facilitate efficient international trade operations through data analysis and compliance.

Job responsibilities:

• Employ Trade Applications & Software for the analysis of import and/or export data, generating transactional documentation, crafting KPI reports, and determining FTA Qualification applicability.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including the company’s colleagues, clients, brokers, governmental authorities, freight forwarders, carriers, and regulatory bodies.
• Deliver desk-side training to internal participants and contribute to the development and enhancement of processes.
• Support the Manager in overseeing and managing daily workflows.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures while responding to inquiries from customers, brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs.
• Monitor and comply with changing priorities set by Clients, customs, regulatory bodies, and management.

Skills Required:

• At least 3 years of experience in Customs / Logistics. Ideally within the Automotive industry.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
• Developed expertise in at least one of the following areas:
• Import/export filing, Post Entry
• Customs and Foreign Trade Law
• Freight & Export Operations
• Customs Audit Support
