Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading multinational utility scale Solar & co-located BESS developer, owner, and operator.
Our client are currently looking for an experienced Planner to join their team and manage all planning issues and requirements in-house from site strategies, through planning, construction and operation of completed PV & Storage projects across Ireland & the UK.
This role will be based in Dublin or Cork.
Responsibilities
- Managing the pre and post commencement planning conditions and advising on amendment planning applications as required. This includes managing and advising on all planning issues as they arise.
- Liaising with design teams, County Councils/ ABP, relevant state bodies and stakeholder to ensure projects are delivered and progressed in a timely manner.
- Reviewing planning applications prior to submission.
- Liaising with and assisting the Development Team to address findings and foresee any potential planning issues that could arise during the Pre-Construction and Construction phases.
- Providing planning support to the Construction Team.
Requirements
- A planning related degree.
- The candidate will ideally possess a recognised qualification in Town Planning (IPI and/or RTPI Accredited)
- 3+ years’ planning experience.
